Here we go - what a Show for my Students: Ole South in Murfreesboro was great! Aubrey Torrez improved overall and had 6 consistend Tests with scores up to 71.5! Holly Skelly did well too and scored in the mid 60st. Our Baby "Brandenburg Gate" with Katie Jackson on Board did very well and tried hard to keep his nervs under control. Considering that he is a OTTB and just 5 month with his new Mom trying to learn all the new controlled Dressage Movements! We definately will see this hard working pair again in the Arena! And last but not least Michelle Miles had a terrific Weekend onboard Gismo. This Team scored in the high 70 and made again the Champion of the Junior Division!
Michelle moved up for the first time and showed Gismo in the First Level Division at RHR TVDA Show. She scored a 66.5 and made the JR-High Score with this score for First Level and up! Way to go!!

Despite the cool rainy weather in Georgia on the first day at the Regional Championship - the Show could not gotten any better. We started with two First Level Test on a cold rainy day with Water all over the Dressage-Arena, but the Girls and Horses were ready to go. Michelle placed both test on 2nd Place with scores up to 65% and Aubrey placed 3rd and 4th with scores up to 60%. Championship: Aubrey Torrez on Pippin had a fantastic ride during her Championship Test and scored a 64.8% which placed her 5th overall. Michelle on Gismo scored a 64.2% and was awarded with the 6th place at the Final. The Semi-Final for the USEF Dressage Seat Equitation were split in 2 groups with JR/YR from Training to 4th Level all competing for that National Titel. In the 13 & under Group Michelle made the Reserve-Champion and got herself with this ride the Ticket to the Finals in 2009. Aubrey had to show in the 14 & up Division where she competed against 18 qualified JR/YR Riders for this Semi-Final. Aubrey showed that she has worked on her Dressage Seat pretty hard over the last couple a month and was awarded with the 6th place during this Semi-Final Championship. My Congratulations GIRLS!!! I am really proud of you 2 and your awesome Horses!
